Lake Barrington
Lake Barrington in Tasmania is a hub for water sports and outdoor activities, including rowing, camping, and fishing, notably hosting the 1990 World Rowing Championships. Managed by Rowing Tasmania, the area regularly accommodates overnight events, necessitating camping and lodging facilities.
How we helped
Rowing Tasmania required a toilet amenities building to improve comfort and convenience for event participants and spectators, needing ample cubicles to accommodate large crowds & overnight stays and a design that blended seamlessly with the surrounding forestry. Working with Rowing Tasmania, we selected the Yarra 4 building for its unique skillion roofline and added 4 extra showers for enhanced capacity. Furthermore, the building was finished in pale eucalypt and cottage green to seamlessly integrate with the local environment.
