The City of Melville were in need of a toilet facility near tennis courts at Point Walter. They needed to be: aesthetically pleasing and match environment, secure and comfortable for users, durable with ease of maintenance. We worked on this project with the council collaborating together to deliver a toilet building that spoke to their needs and those of the local users.

Solution
Grounds storage
- Large storage room in back of building and extra side room on left for extra equipment
- Roller door was designed, supplied and added
Security and comfort
- The doors were fitted with auto-locking, which prevents access late at night
- The modular pre-fab system means if a panel does sustain damage it can be quickly and cost effectively replaced.
- Skylights were added for more natural light, ensuring a comfortable and safe space for users
Aesthetics
- Aluminium composite cladding wrapped with vinyl graphic finish
- City of Melville supplied artwork for graphic that reflected local flora and fauna with background colour that matched the tennis court
- Internal walls were tiled in the Balastina colourway, easy to maintain and great looking
Durability
- Strong powdercoated aluminium was used for the exterior
- Interior fixtures in a premium stainless steel
An Outstanding Result
- Beautiful toilet building that matched tennis court and local environment
- Lot’s a positive feedback from the tennis court users & staff since the install
- A clean, private, durable building that will be used for many years to come
